-- Contributed by: LavishaThat's great Rae. If you have a coach who really knows what they're doing, you can do all sorts of cool stuff!
-- Contributed by: Valorie Delpthe first time i tried cheerleading, it was in middle school grade 8. it was incredible! we had the tiniest gymnast flyers in grade 6 and we were doing incredible basket tosses with twists and everything :)

The best way to be safe in a stunt is to make sure that you have enough spotters and that your squad/coach are properly trained. Even "easy" stunts can be dangerous if you don't follow simple safety precautions.
I think you'll find our article on Easy Cheerleading Stunts more helpful for your squads current level.
Elevator extentions and cradles are not really easy stunts for a middle school squad. I would suggest intead side thigh stands, walk up shoulder sit or something similar. Unless your squad is an All Star squad with more advanced skills this is too difficult for a small middle school squad.
-- Contributed by: Valorie Delpthese stunts are not easy! every stunt can lead to disaster. what i came to this site for was to look at stunts that are safely performed but easy for a middle school group with seven people. i am a cheerleader for my squad but i want to see ways to be safer in a stunt... like a walk in elevator extension elevator cradle.
